LoneColor’s purpose is to set a random or a custom color as your wallpaper, as your desktop background. After you install LoneColor, you will see a shortcut on your desktop. Double click it and your desktop background will be changed to a random color. Double click it again and your desktop background will be changed to another random color.

If you want to change the desktop background to a custom color, you must rename the LoneColor desktop shortcut. Rename it to “LoneColor Black” and the color will be changed to black when you double click the desktop shortcut. Rename it to “LoneColor Red” and the color will be changed to red when you double click the desktop shortcut. You get the idea.

LoneColor is available as a portable version and as an installer for Microsoft’s Windows operating system; it provides support for 32- and 64-bit Windows editions, any edition from Windows XP onward.
LoneColor is also available for Google’s Android mobile operating system; it provides support for Android 3.0 Honeycomb and newer.

This is the part of the article where I’m supposed to talk about the interface. But you see, LoneColor si a zero interface application – it does not have an interface. You don’t have to bring up an interface, you just have to run it and it will change the color of your desktop background.

LoneColor is free software.

Change the color of the desktop background by simply double clicking the LoneColor shortcut. Change it to a random color, change it to a custom color.

Pros

LoneColor is available for Windows and Android. LoneColor for Windows is available as an installer and as a portable version. Double click the LoneColor shortcut and the desktop background will change to a random color. Rename the LoneColor shortcut to switch to a custom color instead of a random color. LoneColor is a zero interface application. LoneColor is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of.
